What made you decide to join the company?

The timing of my career worries coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic, and I began to think about changing jobs. By chance, I had the opportunity to confide my work-related worries to my boss from my previous job (now the general manager of MOFF), and that was when I first learned about MOFF.

I still remember the stirring in my heart when I heard that the fact that tragic news about animals continues to come true is precisely because people have fewer opportunities to interact with animals. This is because I myself am one of those people who grew up without having many opportunities to interact deeply with animals. That is why I decided to join MOFF, wanting to be a part of it and spread the word to the world about MOFF, which expands and protects places where people and animals can interact, and values understanding of animals and the preciousness of life.

What do you feel you have grown in since joining the company?

When I first joined the company, I had no experience in HR, and I remember being overwhelmed not knowing where to start learning (laughs).
However, as I have taken on each task seriously, I feel like I have gradually acquired a way of thinking as a human resources professional.
In particular, I think it's a great growth experience for me to have become aware of the importance of "listening carefully to what the other person is thinking" and "considering the best decision for the entire company" through recruitment and interviews.

I also think that I have grown a little by not just waiting to be taught, but by taking the initiative to attend seminars and read books.

What challenges would you like to take on in the future?

“I would like to be more deeply involved in "organizational building."
I would like to create an environment where each and every colleague can realize their own strengths and roles and take on challenges in a positive manner.
And precisely because I myself am someone who had few "original experiences of interaction," I would like to be someone who can gently push forward those who, like me, have little connection with animals and are unsure of their surroundings but are trying to move forward.

In the future, I would like to aim to be someone who can make MOFF a better company through both human resource development, which supports the growth of my colleagues, and organizational development, which promotes the growth of the entire organization.
