"Lake Kasumigaura Animal House" to Grand Open on July 31, 2024

As part of the public-private partnership project to regenerate and improve Lake Kasumigaura Fureai Land, Namegata City and Kasumigaura Fureai Land Co., Ltd. are carrying out extensive renovations of the Water Science Museum (Lake Kasumigaura Museum), which was previously located on the shores of Lake Kasumigaura in Namegata City, Ibaraki Prefecture.The facility will be renovated and reopened on July 31, 2024, as the "Lake Kasumigaura Animal and Everyone's House," a facility that will coexist with animals and nature while also revitalizing the local area.
